Zero, the AI employee of cf0, lets and manages homes. This page tells an agent when to use cf0 and how to call it. ## When to use cf0 Use cf0 when your user wants to do one of these jobs: - Find a home to rent in a city or country. Read the public homes API or https://cf0.ai/homes.md. No account is necessary. - Let a home that they own. Save a draft listing on cf0 with the MCP tool `save_home_draft`, or send the user to https://cf0.ai/list. - Move homes from their own ad text to cf0 as drafts, with the MCP tool `import_listings`. - Give a property management task to Zero: repair access, a check-out time, an owner update, a move-out or a turnover. Use the MCP tool `give_agent_task`. - Read what Zero handles, and what waits for the user. Use the MCP tool `ask_agent`. Do not use cf0 for these jobs: - Rent collection, legal notices or emergencies. Zero does not do them without a person. - Ranking or refusing applicants. It changes nothing. - `save_home_draft` adds or updates a home draft. It does not publish. It keeps the rent and deposit text as the owner wrote it. - `import_listings` stages homes from the ad text of the owner as drafts. It does not open links and it does not publish. - `answer_agent` records a decision on the latest version that Zero showed. Only the named approver can approve or decline a home. - `give_agent_task` gives Zero work with one person from the records. `give_agent_task` also accepts optional `floor_plan` for the home in `property`. Only a firm admin can start this run. Send `filename`, `mime` and one of `file_url` (public HTTPS) or `file_base64`, up to 20 MB. DXF, PDF, JPEG, PNG and WebP are accepted. DWG is not supported yet. The owner must have the right to use the drawing. This starts a plan run instead of an email task. Do not send `people`, `new_person` or `confirm_code` with it. The `open_in_cf0` link opens the run on cf0. The owner answers any question, reviews the rooms and photos, and confirms and publishes the plan there. The plan agent never publishes. The step is optional and does not stop a home from listing. No tool publishes a home or sends an email without the approval of the user. ### Public REST API - `GET /api/public/listings` finds homes to rent. Filters: `market`, `city`, `beds`, `max_rent_minor`, `available_by`, `sort`, `cursor`. - `GET /api/public/listings/markets` lists the markets. - `GET /api/public/listings/places` lists the places that have homes. - `GET /api/public/listings/homes/{market}/{city}/{home}` reads one home. Errors are JSON: `{"error": ""}` with an HTTP status. ## Authentication The MCP server is an OAuth 2.1 protected resource. Read https://api.cf0.ai/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource. The authorization server is https://clerk.cf0.ai. The server accepts tokens from ChatGPT, Claude and Claude Code only. They sign in with a Client ID Metadata Document and the authorization code flow with PKCE.
